The SRH840A Professional Studio Headphones from Shure are a closed-back design, over-ear monitoring headphones. Updated with a new look over the original highly regarded SRH840, the SRH840A is tuned to provide high-quality audio reproduction for critical listening during recording, editing, and mixing. Lightweight and sturdy, the Shure headphones can also fold down for easy storage and transportation in the included carrying bag.



Utilising large 40mm drivers, the Shure SRH840A delivers a broad frequency response of 5 Hz to 25 kHz for rewarding bass, intelligible mids, and extended treble. The closed-back, circumaural design from Shure, reduces ambient noise and offers long-term comfort with its thick replaceable earpads. The wide headband is adjustable and generously cushioned to ensure a pleasing fit on a range of head sizes.



The Shure SRH840A comes with a 3m cable, which is detached for easy replacement if needed. The SRH840A cable utilises a bayonet clip to keep it securely attached to the earcup. Included also is a gold-plated 3.5mm TRS mini plug and 1/4" adapter for compatibility to various devices including MP3 players and mobile devices as well as DJ mixers and audio interfaces.
